There is something special about sitting down with pen and paper, especially in good company.
Correspondence Club is our monthly after-hours gathering devoted to slowing down, putting pen to paper, and making a little space for connection. Join us at the shop for an evening of letter writing, journaling, treats, conversation, and quiet creative time.
Whether you arrive with a letter already in mind or haven't written one in years, you're very welcome here.
❧ What to Expect
Each Correspondence Club gathering includes 90 minutes of relaxed writing time in our shop, with no more than 12 guests.
Your reservation includes:
- A limited-edition Penwick Correspondence Club goodie packet
- A sweet treat and refreshments
- Access to shared writing supplies
- Time to write letters, journal, or simply enjoy putting pen to paper
- The opportunity to participate in The Sunday Letter Project
Some months may also include guided journaling, writing prompts, seasonal themes, or other little surprises.
No letter-writing experience is required, and there's no membership commitment. Simply reserve a seat whenever you'd like to join us.

The Sunday Letter Project
Penwick is proud to be part of The Sunday Letter Project, a community built around the simple joy of sending and receiving handwritten letters.
During Correspondence Club, you're welcome to choose a pen pal through the project, write your introduction letter, continue an existing correspondence, or bring along a letter of your own.
Not in the mood to write a letter? That's perfectly fine too. You're always welcome to spend the evening journaling or working quietly in your notebook.
A Little Something to Take Home
Each month, guests will receive a small Correspondence Club packet created especially for that gathering.
Expect a limited-edition Penwick postcard, a little sticker, and a rotating stationery surprise. Designs and goodies will change from month to month, so each gathering will have something a little different tucked inside.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! We'll have basic writing supplies available, but you're very welcome to bring your favorite pen, stationery, journal, letters, or anything else you'd like to work on. Penwick stationery and writing supplies will also be available to shop during the evening.
Do I need to be part of The Sunday Letter Project?
Not at all. You can write to a Sunday Letter Project pen pal, correspond with someone you already know, write your introduction letter, journal, or simply enjoy some quiet creative time.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. We hope Correspondence Club becomes a comfortable way to meet new people without the pressure of a traditional social event.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! You may reserve up to two seats per order. Please select one seat for each person attending.
What if I can't make it?
Reservations may be cancelled for a refund minus a 12% processing fee up to 48 hours before the gathering. Because seating is very limited and refreshments and goodies are prepared especially for each guest, reservations are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event.
If something comes up, you're welcome to transfer your reservation to a friend. Just let us know the name of the person attending in your place.
Why does my confirmation email say Adored Vintage?
Penwick is a sister shop of Adored Vintage and operates under Adored Vintage LLC. Because we share the same system, you may see the Adored Vintage name on our website, emails, order confirmations, and receipts. Rest assured, your reservation is for Penwick Correspondence Club!
